Spaywall lets you LEGALLY avoid paywalls on many news articles by redirecting you to an archived version of the page in the Internet Archives project (archive.org).

Because we are pointing you to a different website, we are not bypassing or messing at all with the original paywall on the article source.  Spaywall is 100% free, and we do not collect any data whatsoever.

** NOTE **
- Because we are searching the archives for a paywall-free copy, an archived copy must already exist. That means articles typically need to be a few days old for them to have been crawled by the Internet Archives.
- Our algorithm strives to always correctly detect if a paywall-free version has been archived. It's pretty good, but it's not 100%. Your mileage may vary.
