SlimCast can detect and play video urls on various hosting providers. You can send these to SlimCast.xyz site and play with devices.

SlimCast can detect direct video urls on various hosting providers. You can watch these videos in Chrome with the default HTML5 Video Player or send it to SlimCast.xyz website and play it with any device's own WebBrowser.

You can find the supported hosting providers list on the main website or inside the extension's about page.

The HTML5 video player can be controlled with keyboard shortcuts and you can add local 'srt' subtitles to any online video. Currently the color of the subtitles can be changed.

Contrary to other applications, SlimCast does not use DLNA to play videos.
Instead, after the video is found, you can send it to SlimCast.xyz website. This way you don't need to install any application to your Smart Device to play a video. Just open your built-in web browser and visit SlimCast.xyz. Your video is ready to play.

Your Smart Device and computer must be connected to the same local network.
