Install offline Notifier for Gmail™. It opens gmail.com in Chrome™ browser after clicking on notification in offline Notifier for Gmail™.
Chrome APPs have no such API ability yet. What's why that workaround needed. As soon as it will be added, we will update current Chrome application and get rid of extension.
This extension uses Google Analytics to count number of unique installs, active users and source of install. This statistics does not contain any personal info. This data is processed only by developer and is never shared.
