The two most important ways to build vocabulary are through extensive reading and learning word parts, including roots. 

A “root” is the basic portion of a word that carries a meaning. By learning them you can build your vocabulary, improve your spelling, and your reading of multi-syllabic words. 

Here you will see examples of different roots, you will learn their meaning, and how they are used in different words. You will then get to practice what you learned by forming words, sentences, paragraphs, and develop fluency!
