Marksy is a simple, easy to use markup language translator, allowing you to convert one markup language into another for use on blogs, comment systems, or anywhere you can enter text. Marksy lets you write how you want, where you want, on the web without leaving the page you're on.
Write a comment or post in your preferred markup language, then right-click or type shift-cmd/ctrl-m to activate the Marksy panel and translate your markup into another one.
Marksy converts between the most common markup languages and even some more obscure ones:
- Markdown
- RST (reStructured Text)
- Textile
- HTML
- Mediawiki
- Github-flavored Markdown (gfm)
- Jira (Confluence Wiki)
- Googlecode
- Jspwiki
- Moinmoin
- Trac
