Keeps deviantArt always near you by notifying you about new messages.

We invite you to discover the most easy and efficient way to keep track of your deviantArt messages: deviantAnywhere

This extension will add a small status item in the bottom-right of every page you visit.

It will also notify you of new messages both by displaying the new messages in the status item and by sound, in case you are not currently on any page or Chrome is not in focus.

You can choose for what messages and groups to be notified. Also, you can choose what colors will be used to display the group summary in the status item.

The options allow you to customize even more the feel and look of deviantAnywhere.

Note that extensions are not allowed to modify the Chrome Extensions Gallery, the Chrome Store and  some other special pages, and deviantAnywhere is no exception. That's why you will not see the status bar on this pages.

Why does deviantAnywhere need all this security clearances ?

This extension will show the summary of your deviantArt inbox on all pages you visit. That's why it needs the 'Your data on all websites" security option.

It also allows you to open a new tab and load your deviantArt inbox in that tab. So for this you'll see the "Your tabs and browsing activity". We don't need the browsing activity part, but Google decided to put it there anyway.
